Rose

So it's official Rose. I'm excited to see what he can do. On the other hand, he is still very young. Just a season ago he was a high school senior.

What's next? Well according to Pax working out deals for Gordon and Deng. It's obvious someone has to go. My concern is who is going to handle the ball. You have Rose who will grow into the role, but is still young. After that who is there? Duhon is likely gone. You don't really want Sefolosha or Gordon handling it. Possibly Hughes, but that not ideal. That leaves Hinrich who I still trust with the ball. It's clear that Hughes will probably have to stay due to his contract. Sefolosha is a player still developing. That leaves Hinrich and Gordon. Although you like Gordon's shot making ability you have think he is undersized, can't trust him to make point guard like decisions on the court, and he's asking for too much. I guess that begs the question, well who will want him then. I think the fact that he can score very easily will always be an asset to a team. Plus, in the right package it could work out.

I guess I'm just saying this because everyone is pointing at Hinrich to be traded. I'm saying ideally it would be wise to keep another ball handler around. Besides, he has a favorable contract (which makes him attractive as well). Regardless, next season will be exciting to watch.
